Deep Diver Theory Course
This supplementary deep dive theory training will help students learn how to properly dive to depths between 40 meters to 130 feet through a mixture of academic sessions. In addition, students will learn to plan and safely complete their deep diving adventures and use gas consumption calculations to get the most from their deep dives.
Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop and Articulate Storyline
Problem And Solution:
The theory of deep diving is a complex subject. The fundamentals of physics, human physiology, the marine environment, and dive equipment are all examined. Students may be scared out of courses that are too complicated. To retain more students and assist them in reaching their goals, providing information in smaller and structured units would be favorable.
Methodology:
Using Bloom's Taxonomy, I wanted to create a course emphasizing exploring concepts, ideas, principles, and procedures rather than recalling facts. I took this approach because this course requires an understanding of numerous concepts. Before teaching the more complex versions of a task, teaching a more straightforward version can help avoid overwhelming students. In addition, bloom's taxonomy facilitates the development of scenario-based learning.
